Congratulations on your Emmy nominations, This American Life!
My favourite… thing in the history of life…This American Life was just nominated for FOUR Emmys!
Now I’ve only seen one episode and a few clips of the This American Life tv show because Canada seems to be a bazillion years away from putting on awesomeness on tv sometimes, but I am a religious tuner in-er of the radio show...like lock me in a room and throw away the key but put on This American Life on the radio for me and I will never feel the need to come out type of religious.
Like it’s the only way you’ll ever get me to organize the tornado infused closet of mine type of religious.
Like I once had to write a work-related Christmas card to (This American Life Contributor) Ian Brown and went psycho b*tch discussing in great length how This American Life owns my soul type of religious.
Like Ira Glass has the most ridiculously soothing voice and he’s amazing and wonderful and talented and witty and a freakin’ GENIUS type of religious.
Like I totally pray that they take the show on the road to Toronto and I will be there, front-row centre, looking forward to yet again hearing the OC story and TAL’s honourable mention in an epi type of religious. Will.never.get.sick.of.that.story.love.forever.and.ever.and.ever.
You best believe I’ll be tuning in to the 61st Annual Emmy’s on September 20th on CBS to cheer on the best thing that’s ever happened to life and what not.
Or…if you’re some wealthy benefactor and would like to pay for my trip to go down there so I can be all up in that action, I’m down! I’m pretty cute and nice and sometimes I’ll say something so brill that my friends pee with laughter. I’m also super good at styling peeps and would probs be able to style YOU for like under $47.
Erm…if you’ve been living under some rock and haven’t been listening to This American Life, I suggest you do yourself a huge favour and start listening. NOW.
