People still get Chinese character tattoos?

Gawd.

Seriously folks. Unless YOU are CHINESE don’t get a Chinese character. They are one the tackiest tattoos ever. I’d like to meet the first white guy to get a Chinese character and see if he still likes it. I’m willing to bet he’s paid to have it removed or he’s gone back to a different artist for a cover up. And I hope that artist charged him an extra fee for stupidity.

This rant all comes about because of facebook(doesn’t everything?). I’ve just seen that a girl I knew in high school recently got two new tattoos; a Chinese character of her zodiac sign and some inspirational word in Arabic. She’s neither Arabic nor Chinese.

I like tattoos, and I’m all for “to each his own”, but gah! Gag with a spoon!
